Direct-injection System
Direct-injection combustion system marks a new era in efficiency
Kubota is the first to incorporate an advanced direct-injection combustion system into a compact, high speed 10.5-14.8 HP class diesel engine. The combustion chamber is placed in a cavity in the top of the piston to minimize gas-leakage and prevent heat loss. And, Kubota's Direct-injection diesel engine has inlet ports with a swirl-type design to mix air and fuel more efficiently. Thanks to these, and other innovative feautres, Kubota's entire series of diesel engines are highly efficient and offer superior fuel economy.

Direct-injection combustion system saves you fuel
Kubota's Direct-injection combustion systems can save you money each month. By reducing your fuel consumption by as much as 20%, compared with conventional swirl combustion and precombustion chamber systems. That's a saving of more than a 200L drum of fuel every 3 months (When operating an engine 8 hours a day at a rated output of 8 HP).

TVCS System
TVCS for steady, efficient operation
Kubota's TVCS (Three Vortex Combustion System) is a revolutionary system that provides super-efficient fuel spray combustion. The three vortexes within the combustion chamber produce the ideal air/fuel mixture, which ensures complete combustion for greater power output and steadier operation. In fact, with this unique system, Kubota's compact, light weight engines can produce the same power output as much larer conventional engines.

Other Features
More power for heavy-duty operations
Though light and compact, Kubota's diesel engines generate plenty of power for heavy-duty jobs. And the lower weight per output rating makes them easier to transport.

Superior starting and durability
Each Kubota engine is specially designed for smooth, stable starting every time. And durability is built in to ensure reliable performance over long periods of usage.

Low vibration and noise levels
Improved combustion, injection and exhaust systems have resulted in a series of engines that are far quieter than conventional diesel engines in the same class.

Simple, maintenance-free operation
A specially designed radiator that reduces the need for adding cooling water; a one-touch air elimination button; 2 filters to keep fuel and lubricating oil clean; and a simple speed-adjustment lever are just some of the features which make operation a breeze.
